This is causing a lot of noise due to the fact, I believe, its not pitch properly. As you can see, its resting up against the outside casing and likely needs to be replaced with a smaller. However, I dont know what this is called and where you can buy one of these. Do they sell at lowes or home depot? Do I need to get from a Plumbing store?

i call it steam convector..like geofd said replace air vent. noise comes from water trapped in convector .if vent is bad water wont drain back to boiler.
