Thanks! I'm fairly certain mine is not compatible as its old wires for an old unit. I did have my unit replaced sometime in 2009 or 2010 because the old AC unit was from a company that went out of business in 1973. It was older than the guy who came to work on it. He called it a "dinosaur". His father's uncle used to live here and his father told me that he thought the unit may have been put in during the 1940s. But, I will still check the compatibility chart.
Havasu, glad you were able to fix the clock. I love grandfather clocks but don't really have the space for one.
Today I went out and took some inventory of the plumbing parts I have but already forgot because I forgot to take something to take notes with. My friend is supposed to come out tomorrow to run hot water lines. There are only 2 plumbers in the area. One I wouldn't trust after I saw the "work" he did on my friend's grandfather's house. Like, who the hell busts out bricks, runs a vent through it, doesn't seal up around it, runs it up a few inches (below the fill level of the washing machine the vent is for) and then slaps an AAV on it? The sewer lines were all different angles and not sloped properly... Also, there's no way that guy is fitting under the house if I can't fit. Other plumber would have to get his brother-in-law to climb under but last time I saw the BIL he wasn't looking so healthy. But, every time I call I get either his wife or an answering machine. Left messages but no callbacks.
Anyway, I've got about twenty-five 1/2" cinch rings, fourteen 3/4" cinch rings, a few plastic manifolds with one 3/4" inlet and four 1/2" outlets. Some with only three 1/2" outlets. I think I have some 1/2" tees... I need to split off for a lav, washing machine, & tub in one area. I need to split off to two showers and two lavs on the other side of the house. But I need to tap into the same line that comes from the water heater, loops under the washing machine (but is not hooked up) and then goes to the kitchen sink. It's a 3/4" line but I need to split off to 1/2" because those are the fittings I could find. Need to make sure I can find the full kit for the laundry hookup bc right now getting hot water for laundry is higher priority. Would be nice to take a hot shower too. Getting too cold for the cold showers (and washing hair in the sink). Gonna have to call my friend bc he hasn't responded yet. He was supposed to touch base with me "early" today.
