Complete novice here and just installed a new toilet. Easier than I thought. However, now I attached the water supply line and I needed about 8 inches, but store only sells 9' and 12' lines.

Looked like they bend, so I bought the 9' and attached it with a bend. It looks like this:

I'm worried the pressure from the bend, over time, will put too much pressure either on the 1) water supply line or 2) tank itself and cause a horrible leak.

Should I be worried and try to find the perfect 8' water line? Or is this bending a standard procedure and the pressure isn't something to worry about?

Thanks for your time.

If it fails, it won't be because of that bend in it. You'll be fine. If it really, really bothers you, you could rotate the stop a little bit, but you are asking for more trouble doing that then you are leaving it like it is.

Thank you for the confidence and your replies. Much appreciated.
