Can someone identify this valve? It’s in the incoming water supply line C1F637F7-F6DE-4CC6-8A72-20C17941189E.jpegat my church. The gasket has a steady leak.
The PVC pipe empties into a utility sink.

It is a backflow preventer. It is required on most commercial buildings to protect the public water supply.
It must be tested annually by a licensed backflow tech company.
In your case, it could be that quick servicing of the mechanism will stop the dripping. WARNING, read the mfrs instructions when servicing. There are springs under the covers.

Definitely call a plumbing company with a licensed backflow guy. There should be a record near by of the inspections and the name of the company that serves this. If not you/they need to start an inspection schedule.
