so....
My crappy water softener that hasn’t worked in two years, just started to leak from the bypass, and I really can’t see paying for a part for a broken water softener, so of course I need one ASAP...
How hard are they to install?
I’m no plumber, but I’m fairly bright...
I haven’t called Home Depot to get a quote for installation, until I ask you guys...
Is it just straight mechanical installation, or do they -“ACTUAlly have to calibrate anything serious...
Also, my water is pretty hard, as I’m on a Comunal well.
A 30k grain softener is $400, and the 40k is $500.
Would buying the 40k grain be overkill?
I don’t want to chinch out and buy the 30k grain and regret it....
