Water leaks at diverter rod of Roman faucet

Hi,

Water leaks at the diverter pull rod of a ledge mount Roman faucet, but only in the "down" position, when filling tub. No leak when diverter to shower. Is the problem in a seal within the rough in valve? Or simply within the spout?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Little hard to tell exactly what brand it is. I take it you don't have the paper work on it. Under that spout there is a
cartridge that can be replaced. You shouldn't have to replace the whole faucet unless you can't identify it. Take a good
picture of the complete faucet and then call Moen, Am Std, Price Pfister and talk to the tec's and see if you can send the
picture to them and maybe they can tell you if its there's. Looking at the handle I would call moen first.
