Water poured out of my air gap when I used the dishwasher. I disassembled it checked for blockages in the air gap, the hose to the garbage disposal and the line to the dishwasher. All are fine. What else can cause this?? Thanks

Replace it or connect the hose from the dishwasher directly to the disposal and strap the hose to the bottom of the cabinet top or close to the top.

It’s called the high loop method. I call it the common sense method.

I will try that thanks

I’ve seen chunks of food get wedged in the disposal port that hose connects to. Take hose off of disposal again and check that before you abandon air gap and strap to cabinet because you might still have a problem. Then you might end up burning out your dishwasher drain pump.
