Last night while doing a load of laundry, large puddles formed in various parts of my apartment. Two in the kitchen, Three in the living room. NO water flooded out of the bottom of the machine or laundry room. Any ideas what is happening? So strange! Thank you.

is this a slab, do you have a basement ,after cleaning up the water does it come back with out anything being used?????

Do you sleepwalk, with a bladder problem? 
It’s an apartment, 2nd floor. My son washed clothes while I was sleeping and failed to tell me that the water was everywhere. When I got up at 6 am there were puddles and wet spots. He didn’t see where the point of where the leak is coming from so that’s still a mystery.

Sounds like it could be a clog in the building drain lines.
Your fixtures are probably dumping water because the laundry water can’t drain fast enough, the water has to escape somewhere.
And if you have people above you, they could also be leaking down onto you.
