wall mount toilet

I just installed a wall mount toilet (american standard pressurized). I am very impressed with this unit but it does leak between the wall and wall mounted horn. the directions for the AS toilet state that the horn needs to project 5/16 inch from the wall in order to seat correctly. Is there a way to make the horn project a little further? Do I need to add a peice to the hor with pvc?
