right here right now, over there later on.
question for you
A friend is drilling a well and wants to install a 500 gallon stainless steel storage tank
then run 2 independent lines
1 to the house
1 to a shop
this is what we have come up with.

can you recommend size and brand of booster pumps
house is a typical 2 bath shop is 1 full bath

Any particular reason for the redundant systems?

Maybe a good idea to provide the required/desired flow and pressure requirements for the house and shop.

You know of course that he'll likely suggest the Cycle Stop Valve system that he represents. Good little package.

Thanks Diehard! You can use separate pumps to separate lines if you want. But the idea of a CSV is to make a larger pump do either or both jobs at the same time. You just put in a large enough pump to supply both demands, and the CSV turns it into a smaller pump when only one faucet is being used.

Probably something like a Goulds J7S or a J10S with a PK1A control kit will do the job. The J10S could supply three houses if needed. The PK1A will make it supply water to just one shower or open up and run 5-6 showers at the same time.
