Hi! Quick question for a hopeful shower shower trim change.

I’m building a semi-custom home and due to material constraints, can’t change the shower/bath/kitchen systems going in.

The base is the Moen Brantford design in chrome. From what I see, this comes in a posi-temp and M-Core 2 design. I’m wondering if you can see by the valve which is currently installed? I am asking for the boxes to be retained as well. I would just like to switch the trim to a more contemporary matte black finish, so just need to know what valve I need to buy for.

The master has a double shower only (against the wall and rain) and the second bath is a traditional three piece.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Steph
