Unseen faucet mount

I’m replacing a 1 hole Moen faucet with pull down feature I have not seen this mount for a faucet There is a D shaped block under sink 1” thick cut for 3 water lines On surface is a structure 21/4 tall holding 3 lines The faucet fit over that
Not sure if is screwed or Allen nuts holding 2 sections together Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

There is a quick connect for the sprayer hose.
Take that off, and now you can get to the hex nut above it.

And also pull the sprayer hose up and out of your way.

You can cut the sprayer hose to make it easier to get it out.

That hex nut holds the C clip tight to the underside of the deck.

There was probably a tube shaped socket wrench that came with the faucet.

You might need a new one, or a deep well socket.

Or you can bend and snap off the copper water supply tubes on the faucet, to make more room to get a crescent wrench on that hex nut.
