The washing machine drain line is backing up (1st floor with cement slab foundation) but drains down quickly. I took a water house and attached a bladder for 1.5" pipe. It ran about a minute. Nothing cleared. I ran the water hose again while I went in the front yard and back yard looking for a cleanout (about 5 minutes). still backs up and then drains down. I see the vent stacks in the attic with Ferncos on them. Will snaking from the roof clear the stoppage? Where did the bladder forced water go?

The washing probably machine puts out water a lot faster than a garden hose.

Snake out the drain line all the way to the four inch line.

You can snake right through where your washing machine drain hose enters.

Or cut off some pipe to shorten it for snaking, then repair it after with a shielded coupling.
That would give you future access to the pipe for snaking.

Washing machine lines tend to plug up from lint, soap, grease, and yuck that forms from rotting lint.
