Toilet standards- Distance from drain to wall?

Have to replace one in a rental property with limited access to the room.
Before buying a new toilet, what measurements should I take on existing toilet. and how to get the dimensions on the new toilet since they are not marked on the box.
I know the existing toilet tank of the two piece unit is right against the wall.

Standard dimension from finished wall to the center of the toilet flange is 12 inches. Measure from wall to the bolts on either side of the existing toilet.

I believe they also make 10 inch and 14 inch models, but they may be special order.
