Supply line issue

I need to shorten these supply lines to make room for a new vanity. I believe they are galvanized steel and therefore I can’t use something like a shark bite valve on them...wondering if I need to go ahead and just replace the entire line.

They are not galvanized they are chrome plated brass nipples. They should come out very easily.

no, they are not copper tubing size. Unless you could find a shark bite that is IPS.

Thanks so much for your help. Nipple replaced with a shorter brass nipple. Really appreciate the help!!

They are 3/8 nipples just replace them with shorter brass nipples.
