Hi guys. The water pressure in my kitchen sink went from a nice strong flow and suddenly lost more than 50% of it's pressure. The weird thing is that it is ONLY the kitchen sink. And it's not like it gradually lost pressure over time, this happened overnight. As I type, my father is trying to clean out the nozzles. It's a handle pull down sprayer. I really don't think that whatever he is doing with baking soda is going to fix it. Anyone experience this? Have any suggestions?

Thanks- Chris

may be a big clump of scale or mineral buildup made way to strainer and clogged it. can you take the fixture apart and clean that strainer? sounds like that is what he is attempting to do. must get that out of there.

A lot of the multi-code kitchen faucets have restrictors on the inlet where the feed hoses hook on. They can easily get clogged, and are a pain to find if you don’t realize they are there.

you can also verify that you have good pressure from you plumbing system by

shutting off the water to the fixture
disconnect water supplies hot and cold
opening up supply valves (one at a time)and flush into a bucket
