We had our home built in 2000. We have a submersible well pump, but I don’t have any info about the pump size, model, etc., and the builder is long gone. I’m not having any problems at the moment, but 18 years is longer lasting than any pump I ever had, and I want to be prepared for its replacement. I need some help with pump size. What I know: - On the pump cap: “Well depth 167, pumping level 100” (Would this mean the well is hanging at 100’?) - 1” water line runs across a level yard 50 feet from well cap to inside the house. Inside the house: - Water line goes through a check valve and then into the tank tee. (From what I’ve been reading, I really only need a check valve down at the pump). - 30/50 pressure switch - 230v pump (3 total wires, red black green) - Amtrol WX-202 20g tank - 3 bedroom/2 baths - 12 total fixtures: 2 bath (6), kitchen sink/dw (2), washer, utility sink, 2 hose bibs - 2 people live here at the moment, but the house could handle 4 people easily. I don't have any info about what the well is capable of producing. I’m trying to get an idea what Goulds pump I'd need. Is there enough info here to determine GPM and HP? I am also kicking around the idea of pulling out the pump and seeing what I actually have. Thanks!
