Stub out question

    i amusing pen tubing. How far beyond the drywall should pex tubing extend before adding supply shut off

    Should end in the wall, then mounted and secured within wall and stubbed out with shut off.

    This is what I use. You might want to consider it. Then use a 5/8" X 3/8" compression valve apollo-elbows-apxstub8we-64_400_compressed.jpg

    I saw this and I’m not sure how to use these. I was going to extend the pex out about 5 or so ago inches then use a shark bite 1/4 turn valve.

    The pex will look like crap stubbed out all crooked. Use the copper stub out picture above and put a compression stop on it. You just nail it to a stud and crimp the pex to the top of it. Then cut it off where ever you want and put the stop
