I believe there is a plethora of wimpy, ineffective snakes in the hands of us DIYers. Therefore, I am inviting you pros to take a minute to post your choice. Thank you

Depend on the drain your snaking and your capabilities
we're I work we use.
General,pistol drill style on a cradle 50' × 1/4".for 1 1/2 drains.
2-4" rigid 3800 3/8"×75' with interchangeable heads.
4" and up spartan solid drum not sure of the model,cable is 5/8"or a bit bigger 100' long with interchangeable heads.
1 gas powered water jet for big drains
1 electric jet for big drains.
1 electric jet for drains 3" and under

Depends what you’re doing with it.

Gorlitz makes fine equipment.
 
I like duracable. I have a coworker who ordered them and now this is my preference.
 

Hand held drain auger's that you can get at home depot/lowes , can you interchange the cable. If the cable is 1/4 can you go with 5/16 or 3/8 cable in the drum.​
