Installing a new vanity and sink in my 1984 home. Vanity, of course, is taller than the original. It has a drawer in the bottom so the bottom of the cabinet where the p trap goes is a little higher. It’s making the pipe to the wall a about 3/4 in too high. What do I do? TIAA28EA775-5746-43C4-B15E-38D62436EA08.jpeg

When this happened with my new cabinet, I marked where the pipe hits the shelf, and cut a small piece out of it, to accommodate the shelf and the P-Trap.

You don't provide any dimensions, but a P-trap made with fittings provides the 2 1/4" of sealing depth which is over the required minimum of 2", and it might fit in the space you have.

Those cabinets can be a problem.

Measure from the center of the pipe coming out of the wall to the cabinet bottom for me and post that number.

Amazon might have a solution for you!

It’s 3 3/4” The drain tail pipe and p trap set are 1 1/4. Thanks!

The Charlotte 1 1/4" P-trap assembly I posted will have a dimension of around 4 1/4" for that, or 1/2" more than you have. It looks like you could make that work by using more than a 1/4" per foot slope to the Sanitary Tee connection that's in the wall, and still not compromise the anti-siphoning reason for the 1/4" per foot slope from that fixture. The length is short enough where that would not be a problem. I'm not sure they make a 1 1/4" P-trap with only a 2" sealing depth, the code minimum, but that would make thing slightly better.

You could also cut a hole in the base or use a router to "thin" the area where the P-trap goes to allow the P-trap to fit and the drawer would still function.
