First time homeowner and just moved in 2 weeks ago. The temperature knob on my shower requires a button to adjust the temperature. See pictures. However, turning the knob doesn't appear to make any significant difference. There is a second knob that turns on the jets from the side.
Could I easily replace the existing temperature knob with a traditional knob? Does the knob I replace it with need any special connections for the side jets? I realize I need to open it up to get a better idea of what needs to be done, but I don't want to open it up without knowing it can be changed then I wont have a shower until I fix it.
