I turned on a very bright work light so I could at the inside of the neck beyond the thread. I found a nylon 'collar' that definitely restricted the water flow with a perplexing rubber piece with three small holes in it. All the water would be forced though this.
I pulled the two items out, hooked up my shower head and turn the water on.
I let the water run for 10 minutes just to bask in the wonderful sustained HIGH PRESSURE flowing from the showerhead. Tomorrow morning, and extra long shower to celebrate.

I have learned quite a bit through this (how long, a month maybe?) ordeal. I would much rather learn how to do these things. Who knows maybe one day I can pass on what I have learned.
