Hello everyone. I’m a new homeowner and discovered a leak in the master bedroom shower. The leak appears to be coming from an old gasket, which was around the pipe (I believe ABS pipe).

I removed the gasket in hopes to replace it with a new one, but cannot seem to find the right piece online. Would anyone be able to point me on the right direction on where to order it, or the name of the part? It appears the shower drain is 3 inches wide and the pipe is around 2 inches.

Thanks in advance.

Many plastic drains have a castelated nut which tightens down from above.
That is NOT what you have.
You have one that uses a wedge gasket that is driven down from above. Call and find a plumbing wholesale house that has one.
Usually this type of drain with the wedge donut is used with pans that have a molded integral drain fitting.

That type of gasket you have is an old style crappy one and you may need to replace the drain fitting if the new donut type is too big.

Thank you sir for your response. I was able to find the make/model of my shower (Florestone 3636-1). I called Florestone, who referred me to a local wholesaler. They are sending a replacement free of charge.

I appreciate your response!
