I have a roughed in shower and toilet in the basement. I am on a septic system. This house is about 30 yo and I am not sure of the plumbing below the basement floor.
I was able to find the pit for the sewage pump - picture attached. This is about 4 feet deep - it was filled with gravel and concreted over.
When I run the shower, I see water seeping into the upper right hand corner, but there is no pipe visible.
I am wondering if the pipe is concreted over as well. Any thoughts on how move ahead with installing the ejector pump?
