I have an outdoor patio heater that has a propane line leak. The leak seems to be at a connection fitting in the line to the burner. The fitting is threaded on the outside. Since there are a few of these types of fittings, I'd like to redo them to ensure no leaks. I am guessing that these are flared fittings, and IIRC, teflon tape or pipe dope should not be used. What if anything should be used?
