Rust around overflow

I noticed a bit of rust around the overflow of my tub. What's the best way to deal with this.

It's just a face plate held on by one screw. Any plumbing supply or big box store will have a replacement. There come with one or two screws, yours is one screw.

If you are referring to the rust from the tub itself, your only option is to get rid of all the exposed rust. Sand it away if necessary, then apply a small about of porcelain repair paint (looks like a bottle of fingernail polish) and coat the raw metal.

I didn't see that havasu, good eyes.
 
Thanks guys, I take it this will be an easier fix than my leaky wax ring on my toilet.
