Up to three toilets combined can use a 3" drain line. There is absolutely no need for 4".
Frodo, what program/app did you use for those sketches? Nice job!

Not to hijack, but I just moved into a new construction single family home which uses 3" waste lines. The builder grade toilets are always getting clogged. Never had a problem at my old house which used 4" lines and 1.6 gpf toilets. I wanted to chalk up the problem in the new house to the 3" lines. You telling me its the toilets???

Check the MaP test results for the particular WC.
If they are rated above 900 grams, then they should not be a problem.
There are still many 1.28 gpf WCs that flush 1,000.
3" waste lines are not a issue.

@frodo
I changed the location of my washing machine to create a better bedroom layout.

I'd like to drain the washing machine along the wall (blue line) and then across the building (red line) to the soil stack. The red line will also drain the kitchen sink.

Can I join the kitchen sink and washing machine with a double quarter bend? Or do i run the risk of washing machine bubbles running up to the sink?

Both fixtures will be vented at their respective locations.

Thanks
