Replacing shower handle

Hi,

Our single shower handle broke off and I'd like to replace it. However, I can only find tutorials on the simple version where you unscrew it and replace it. Mine isn't that simple. I've attached pictures. Anyone know how to replace this type?

Looks like the cartridge broke.

I have no idea what brand that is. You’ll need to totally disassemble the faucet and maybe we could decide what brand it is.
