Hello,

I'm trying to replace a moen's kitchen faucet with the pull out spray handle. However, I'm having a problem with the bracket underneath the sink that holds it in place. I've removed the 3 screws that surround and tighten it but it doesn't seem to budge. It's a design that I can't seem to find on the internet.

Do I need to go through the top of the faucet itself?

Thank you for your time.

Should just spin the plate with the screws counter clockwise. Spray a little Wd-40 if it’s hard to budge.

It might just be kind of glued on to the undercoating of the sink.

Yes, WD40 or better yet PB Blaster penetrating oil, on the threads and also up at the sink contact area.

The ring with the three screws is the retaining nut. Loosen the three screws, and then the nut they go into should unscrew with just hand pressure. Once it comes off the bottom of the threaded shank, the faucet just pulls up.
