As title states i replaced an old slow flushing toilet with a new one. One thing i have noticed is after a flush i hear what sounds like clunks. Its faint but enuff to hear it and i believe its coming from the drain not the fresh water line. It happens immediately after the toilet stops draining. Any thoughts?

I would suggest removing the lid and watching inside the tank for what is causing the sound. It could be the flapper closing, but I have never heard a noticeable noise from that.

Some newer toilets don't have flappers, but barrels and some even have a silly dual flush mechanism that has more moving parts to it.

Like Jeff said, pop the tank lid and take a look.

It has a flap and ive searched and searched the only place i hear the noise (i think) sounds "far away" idk maybe its just me i just know its a noise i didnt hear before. Maybe ill see if a video will pick up the noise and get a link to it for ya guys.
