I am re-doing our bathroom, extending it out, and adding a 2nd sink. I am hoping to be able to tie both sinks in to the single existing drain. Initially I planned to plumb it like a kitchen dual basin sink - but it appears thats a no no - especially since I'm over 30" horizontally. I could technically move the left side over and be within 30" on both sinks - but then I'm zig zagging on my drains - doesn't seem right to me. Simple enough I thought - I'll do two P traps with a Y at the drain - but I keep reading about siphoning, and I'm unable to decipher whether or not that applies to me in this situation or not.

See attached crude drawing - thats what I'm thinking is the ticket. Just not sure if i'm out of line or not here. P trap at each sink, with the 90* double elbow at the drain to prevent back splash.
