Added a shower faucet for the bench seat. Shower is large and has another faucet toward the front. Pulled water from the lavatory that had to cross through the closet. Carpenter is going to seal the holes with foam and box the pipe in. Carpenter is also going to box in the drywall cut out into an access panel.

Laying things out on a moving blanket is a good idea. It looks nice!

Friend got his drop ell and Moen Magnetix handheld. I guess he decided to put the mount up high instead of having the drop ell there.

Too tight for just big channel locks or didn’t want to torque the valve body. Never had to do that on Delta.
It’s actually quite common to have to cut the first generation cartridge nuts off then Delta started putting a coating on the brass nut to keep it from sticking. Nothing works better than grease though. The nut is thin and it squeezes easily and there are no wrench flats. You can see the inside of the nut where the threads are is corroded.

I say common, but I guess in my area almost everything built since around 1996 has Delta shower valves with moen sprinkled in. Higher end homes have some Grohe and kohler custom showers sprinkled in.

Here’s what was here before with separate traps for each side of the Ksink.

Here’s what I went back with and did an end outlet waste under the K-sink.
