My son is getting quotes on the new home he’s building. He was quoted $750 per fixture for the rough plumbing waste and supply. In other words for a tub, a shower, a sink, and a toilet in one bathroom it would be $750 times four. I have been out of the business for 20 years so I have no idea how accurate that is. Does it sound right?

Price per fixture when I would do rough estimates would also need to add for water heaters, water main, recirculating hot water, gas piping and anything else that I'm forgetting.
That is a low figure from where I stand.
We could never have made money as a licensed and insured contractor with trucks, insurances, employees etc. at that rate.
Well, actually, 45 years ago when I first started my business, that might have been a good number without insurance or employees working out of a Datsun pick-up truck with wood storage utility boxes.
