Does anybody know if pot fillers, a spout that extends over the stove to fill up a pot, are legal according to code? New York State code? I have a little bit

I’ve never heard of anywhere they’re not legal.

Personally if I owned the home and wanted one, I’d install it.

I installed one at my old house. It sure looked cool, and made me big bucks when I sold the house, but honestly, I never used it. In fact, I would fill a pot at the sink, walk it over to the stove and saw that purty thing mounted on the wall and thought...."Oh yeah, I could have used that!"

The City of Pleasant Hill decided that they would not allow pot fillers.
How stupid...so we have to rough in after the inspection and map the location for after the inspection.

The one I’m doing now, I piped the origin from under the the Ksink where they can install a filter if they want and I can install a stop valve. She’s going to use it for a coffee station. So she can fill the pot right there.

I told her to just get a commercial machine with a water connection. Nope…..
