We never are allowed to pump "sump" ground water into the sanitary drainage system, since it would cause unwanted overload at the sewage processing plants.
Never, on sewer ejector pump systems have we ever had a need to use pressure fittings.
It makes no sense that the drainage fittings will ever take more pressure than they can handle.
Sorry, but the inspector is clearly a numbskull as to needing water pressure fittings.
