I thought I fixed this thing a year or so ago, but it got looser and looser over time. Got the replacement part from Home Depot back then, a little over $20. Now I completely forgot what the make and model is. I include this pic from back then, hoping somebody can view this and give me some info. I appreciate whatever help I can get.

Pull the cartridge out. Looks like several styles of faucets.

Just making sure you know, shut the water off when getting inside the faucet.

Also, what's getting loose?

is there a red and blue tab that covers the set screw on the handle????
if so its an American standard

i thought that was just American standard......learn something every day!!!!!!!

Geof, sorry I'm not trying to contridict what your saying, but that goes for quite a few faucets. Best to take the innards out and identify that way. Unless their is a visible marking.
