Is one PEX ring cutter better then another?

What brand do you have and does it do a good clean job?

Hacksaw blade and screwdriver. Don't need new tools to accomplish a simple job.

Have not tried this , but , perhaps a good / sharp pair of dikes ?

Yeah, the side cutters work fine for the clamp rings. Just cut the nub, and they come loose.

Cheap Harbor Freight angle grinder and cut off wheels for about $25 , cut the copper band and a little into the pex and the band is off in less than 2 min. Could not be cheaper or faster.
