Pex Question

I recently had a pipe rupture in my concrete foundation. The plumber ripped out the shower pan and part of the bathroom floor to get to the leak. The plumber informed us that we will need to run our water line through the attic with PEX. This is not much of a surprise considering the other line was already PEX. My question is, should I repair my bathroom first or will the plumbers doing the pex need to just tear the shower out again?

Wait for the plumber to get his stuff done first. This reminds me of my wife picking up my tools right in the middle of a project. I then have to go back out to the garage with a nice request to just leave everything until I am finished.
