Hello,

We have a home built in 1972 and found a small leak in the shower. It is a 3 knob bathtub and the hot water wouldn't shut off all the way. I removed the cartridge but can not figure out how to replace. Some people told me we might have to do a complete rebuild of shower if I can't find a new a replacement part which we are trying to avoid. Been to a few local hardware stores with no luck and only thing I can make out on cartridge is the number 27. Looking at the faucet cover it is Gerber. I attached pictures and any ideas would be great!

Thanks
Tony

It’s a Gerber. It’s really common. Google Gerber 3 valve tub shower rebuild kit and it’ll pop up.

Thanks. I ordered this on Amazon. Hopefully it is the right thing and is easy to install.
