Hello All,
I'm having issues with my water pump. Yesterday our pipes froze. We managed to thaw them out and get water again. The water is full of sand again and now the pump is not happy.
It will run normally for a minute and then it will start running double time or as I call it,(get the jitters).
All pipes have been checked and there are no leaks and the pressure switch is brand new.
Is there something i need to clean?
Is there too much pressure now built up in the tank?
HELLLLLLP

"Let it freeze, got sand, pump not happy, double time, jitters." We still don't know what it is doing? Maybe post a short video if you don't know what you are seeing?

It seems to have righted itself. I'm not sure if it was just air in the line or sand particles that needed to be washed through.
We have been running it sporadically just to let the toilet tank to fill or to wash a few dishes. Then all of a sudden it ran perfectly and shut down normally when the pressure built back up. Thank you anyway.
