Hi All

First of all, thank you for your insight.
I have a drip that is caused by an apparently broken seal in the cartridge of the shower.
My challenge is that when I try to get to the handle of the shower to remove the cartridge, I hit a snag. When I use my Grab It tool to remove the stripped screws it just spins with the stainless screw. Any ideas on how to rectify this?
Thank you!!

I don't see what is going on. Pull back on photo shot. What are we looking at?

Your pictures are not helping.
Too blurry, goofy angles, hard to tell what I am looking at.

Sometimes a screw extractor needs a shallow hole drilled first, then the extraction bit grabs into that shallow hole.
Counter clockwise, of course.
At very low speed, high torque, pressing very hard into the screw.

Or just drill it out all the way.

The new cartridge will have a nice new hole in it.

EDIT Forgot you have that side grabbing allen screw attachment.

You will probably have to buy a new handle after drilling out the screw.

Because the allen screw has such a tiny head and fits into a small recess, there is almost nothing for a screw extractor to grab.

They are really designed for a screw with a bigger head, and not one where the head sits recessed into a hole.

If that is in fact what you have.
All pics are blurry.
