I'm installing a new bathroom over an existing concrete slab with radiant heat, and do not want to cut the slab for the new plumbing lines. (I plan to run drain lines over a few feet to en existing vertical chase / slab penetration).

For planning purposes, what is the minimum dimension from top of shower drain to bottom of its P trap?

Thanks!

It would depend on how deep your sewer line is under the slab. I just rebuilt my shower drain and it measured about 15''.

Also depends on if you get an above floor rough in shower or a regular one.

Thanks - I'm thinking an above floor rough-in. Any idea on how much height I need to plan for between the top of existing floor and the new shower drain?

Find out what you want to buy and pull up the specs.
