Will keep it brief to save all you hard working people some eye strain. Located the clog inside the house trap. The only clean out is the one in the basement which is tougher to snake from now that the whole sewer lateral line is full of water. Got the crew in and dig up a couple squares of concrete. Made a small hole in the sewer line before the house trap and we tried to snake it and hydro jet it with no luck. Guess what we found? After digging another hole about 10ft deep we found that the housetrap has a ball of cement/mortar plugging the outlet towards the sewer. Looks like the tile guys poured the rest down the drain and left. Didn’t have a chance to snag a picture of the blockage but here’s us bleeding out the sewer line and snaking inside a copper pipe to guide us inside the sewer pipe. Don’t mind the water, city came and put dye in for testing.

Local code here is every building has to have a housetrap installed. Cut it out and repiped to the city connection with 5” cast iron about 6’ toward the new 5” cast iron housetrap and about 15’ of SDR17 plastic pipe.

This is another house trap clog, this one has some massive roots inside some clay pipe. We exposed the line then started breaking the top of the pipe for our camera to inspect the line.
