Leak detention for toilet drain pipe

Does any one know of a product such as collar to place around a drain pipe to catch water leaking from a toilet?
If I could find such a product then I could add a water detector with an alarm.

The reason I am searching for a product is that I have an upstairs toilet that leaks from time to time and causes damage to ceiling below. It recently happened and do not want to go thru with that again.

Have we looked into repairing the offending toilet. They make drip trays for pipe but it is a system for when we have to run in a electrical room. You could put a water heater pan under it with a water alarm in it.
