Lav cartridge removal

I’m at a loss. I’m trying to replace a cartridge on a Jado lav faucet. My problem is that I can’t remove the defective cartridge. The valve body turns when force is used to remove the cartridge. I tightened the jam nut underneath and tried to hold back on the valve body with the same result. I even tried soaking the cartridge with white vinegar hoping it was stuck due to hard water same result. Does anyone have any different methods to remove the cartridge?

How do you remove the cartridge from a Jado faucet?
Place the special cartridge nut wrench over the Jado cartridge bonnet nut, and turn the nut counterclockwise to remove it.
