We have removed the kitchen sink and we are trying to figure out why the drain keeps overflowing. We used an electric snake to clear the line, not sure how many feet it was, but we put the entire snake down the pipe, but it's still not draining. It only has the stright pipe into the ground no other pipe is attached.

You need to post pictures of all the pipes under the sink.

And where does it go from there?

What is under the sink level?

Crawlspace, basement, concrete slab?

More info is needed.

And you probably did not snake far enough.
You should be able to roughly measure how much length is going in.
If you don’t know, you are not helping yourself get all the way to the clog.

If all of this sounds too confusing, hire a pro.
