Is It a mixing valve

Starter a shower job and i don't know is this a mixing valve or else, and what brand is it. The building is from the 1960's

That is a Moen

The cartridge is a 1225

Make sure you pull the small horse shoe clip out before trying to take out the cartridge. You might want to
get a Moen cartridge puller that makes it a lot easier.
