Sorry but I don't quite get what you are talking about.
Typical kitchen sink requires a water seal p-trap that is installed meeting requirements of plumbing code.
There are many minor variations depending on the specific requirements.
For example, single basin or 2 basins, with or without disposal unit, piped vent or Air Admittance Valve(AAV). And/or other unusual situations.
Why are you asking about a water pump? Do you have some type of odd arrangement to prevent the typical drain and vent requirements?
