I still like the look of solder fittings verses propress. They might save time but I don't think they are as pretty and clean as a quality soldering job.
 
Those crimps are pretty (IMO) but the crimping tool is way out-priced for Harry Homeowner (much like myself).

And then, if you decide to insulate the pipes, all of that work is hidden... :(

Did you do the electrical also?
 
Very nice install. I hate seeing the wiring lookin like a rats nest. Pride in the work shows.

Im not being critical, but I just gotta ask, why is there so many copper-pex transitions on the manifolds? I just find it hard to see detail on my screen.

Personally, all my installs are copper to the ceiling, no pex unless it's an infloor manifold.
 
Those are water supply manifolds. Ordered them in pex
