How to convert tub spout to a wall mount water supply shutoff

Good morning, friends on the forum!

I am in the process building a mortar shower pan. Just bought Moen Ashville shower combo, as you know, the valve has shower connection port and tub connection port.

Instead of capping off the tub connection, is it possible to connect the tub out to a wall supply shutoff vale? What kind of wall faucets/valves do you recommend? Thanks.

Patience is a virtue buddy....We are not here to jump at your beck and call. 2 1/2 hours very early in the the morning is not an unreasonable amount of time to wait, especially when most everybody here has a busy life and doesn’t sit at the computer waiting for a demanding DIYer to post a question. Post some pictures and a better description of what you are wanting to do.
